On Thursday night, May 7, we will play at this year’s Vancouver Elementary Night of Bands held at Tupper Secondary School, 419 East 24^th Ave. (The King Edward bus [25] goes within one block of the school. Students are responsible for their own transportation). Students should arrive at 6:15 pm and meet in the Tupper band room where there will be space for us to warm up. Students must bring their own music stands. The concert is scheduled to go from 6:50 to 8:30 pm. Students are reminded to wear concert dress: Wind Ensemble (white shirts, gray vest, black pants/skirts, black socks and black shoes). This concert is a wonderful opportunity to help inspire elementary students by having them observe what can be done when you continue on into a high school music program.
