OFF-TIMETABLE MUSIC CLASSES
2017/2018
Welcome to another school year. It is great to see you all again and to be meeting some of you for the first time. Welcome to the music department and the many adventures we will have this year.
As you know, not all band classes take place on the regular school schedule of 8:35 am to 3:03 pm. If you are registered in Junior Jazz Band, Intermediate Jazz Band, Senior Jazz Band, Honour Chamber Choir, or Wind Ensemble, these classes will be taught before and after the regular school day.
The schedule for these classes is fixed so that it does not matter if it is a day 1 or a day 2.
Here is this year’s schedule:
Junior Jazz Band TBA
Intermediate Jazz Band TBA
Senior Jazz Band meets every Tuesday morning from 7:10 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and Wednesday and Friday at lunch. The first class is Friday, September 8th at lunch.
Lord Byng Wind Ensemble meets regularly every Monday and Thursday morning from 7:10 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and Thursday at lunch. To start the year, the first class is Friday, September 8th at 7:10 a.m.
Honour Chamber Choir meets every Tuesday at lunch and after school from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The first class is Thursday after school, September 14th.
Remember that it does not make any difference if it is a day 1 or day 2.
