Have you heard of the cuts to the KPU music program? They have cancelled the new intake of students indefinitely which will devastate the program. Courses and faculty will be eliminated and all due to managements serious mismanagement of the university’s funds. Bramwell Tovey has already got involved but I was hoping that you might write to the KPU senior management to tell them to stop these cuts.
He says in order to avoid a deficit, some things have to give and the way the music program currently runs is not sustainable. Ferreras hopes a review of the program, scheduled for the next school …
With a budget in need of revamping, prospective and current Kwantlen Polytechnic University music students are feeling the brunt of cost-cutting.
